Our mission at ¡Viva La Verde! is to make it easier for everyone to incorporate more fresh, raw, organic fruits and vegetables into their daily diet. This is accomplished in several ways; we:
- Bring you the best produce we can fresh weekly. It is not sitting around on the shelf for who knows how long.
- Offer case pricing to help families and groups to purchase in bulk thus lowering the cost of delicious organic produce.
- Prepare samples of food items you might like to try.
- Provide recipes of sample items in a weekly newsletter and our blog: vivalaverdegreenblog.blogspot.com
- Offer prepared items for sale to make it easier for people to incorporate more fresh, raw, organic fruits and vegetables into their daily diets.
Because we are raw vegans, all prepared foods are uncooked and it is assumed that it will be consumed uncooked. Some are gently dehydrated and occasionally we have some foods that are frozen or that can be frozen.

Co-op Pricing for Fresh, Organic Fruits and Vegetables
Each week we publish a list of the current prices for the delicious fruits and vegetables brought in that week. Please keep in mind that we do not routinely hold our produce over from week to week. It is fresh every week. Our sources also vary according to the season, but we list that on the weekly list as well.
The list contains the prices for full cases, half cases, and quarter case lots. Each item has a different amount that is considered a case, so please refer to page 4 for amounts needed to make up a partial case.
The discount is approximately as follows: 25% off the retail price for a full case, 15% off for ½ case, and 10% off for a ¼ case. Save big and get the yummy fresh organic fruits and veggies you need to thrive.
Example: On a recent price list, you could buy one apple for 70¢. 12 of them would be $8.40. However, you could have purchased 25 as a ¼ case for $15.50 saving you $2.00. Since apples have some lasting power, ½ case contains 50 apples and could be purchased for $28.75 saving you $6.25 over the individual price for 50 apples. An entire case was $51.25 and would have saved you $18.75! Who says buying organic can’t be affordable?
